1. No Direct Online Collection from Children

MKA Turkish School does not knowingly permit children under the age of 13 to directly register, create accounts, or submit personal information on our website. All registration forms, contact requests, and program enrollments involving minors must be completed and submitted exclusively by a parent or legal guardian.

2. Student Information Collected via Parents

When a parent or legal guardian enrolls a child under 13 in our educational programs, we may request the following limited personal information:

• Child's full name, date of birth, and grade level.
• Emergency contact details and parent/guardian contact information.
• Relevant health, allergy, or educational background details strictly required for the safety and academic support of the student.

3. Verifiable Parental Consent

In accordance with COPPA regulations, any personal information pertaining to a child under 13 is processed only after obtaining verifiable parental consent during the enrollment process. Parents retain full authority over how their child's information is used for educational activities.

4. Third-Party Educational Tools & Digital Platforms

In cases where digital educational applications or online classroom tools are utilized, MKA Turkish School acts under the school-consent authorization permitted under COPPA. We only partner with educational service providers that comply with COPPA standards and contractually commit to using student data solely for school-authorized educational purposes—never for commercial advertising.

5. Parental Rights: Review, Modification & Deletion

Parents and legal guardians reserve the following rights at all times:

• Review the personal information collected about their child.
• Refuse further collection or use of their child's personal information.
• Request the immediate deletion of their child's personal records, provided such deletion does not conflict with mandatory educational recordkeeping requirements under state or federal law.

6. Limitation of Liability

MKA Turkish School, its board members, administrators, teachers, and staff members shall not be held legally liable for unauthorized disclosures or submissions caused by third parties or by minors providing falsified age information without the knowledge or consent of school personnel.
